Our skippers come from a commercial background and both have proven themselves as far as catch rates and safety records are concerned. (We believe that these last two facts are what earned us our name). Deckhands are also available to make your trip more pleasant and help those who have little or no experience.
We operate daily (weather permitting) and require a minimum of 3 people .Our trips are usually in the region of 5 to 6 hours. Prices are regulated by our club and currently all charter operators ask R550pp. This price includes all necessary bait and tackle as well as your rod and reel. All you need to bring is your refreshments and snacks as well as sun block or warm clothing. Those who suffer from sea sickness should take the necessary pills before hand.

Our company and boat names are known in most circles in Mosselbay and we are proud of our reputation. When it comes to the deep sea, our points of focus are: Safety, Service, Catch Rate, and Conservation. We currently have 2 boats. The first is a 28ft Trim Cat which can comfortably accommodate 10 people. The other is a 28ft Butt Cat and is fit for groups of up to twelve. Both are fitted with top of the range fish finders and GPS systems and are rigged with all necessary safety equipment to comply with SAMSA’s strict criteria.
All fish caught may be kept as long as they are within the national bag and size limits but we always encouraged the practice of “Tag & Release”. This helps both with research projects and with conservation. Common catches include Red Roman, Cob, Shad, Geelbek, Santers, Red Steenbras, Poenskop and many other fish as well as many species of shark.
